Olive Harvest 2026
Our Earliest Olive Harvest Ever
September 20, 2026 | Sonoma County, Penngrove, CA
2026 was a strange year in the olive grove.
By September 20, our olives were already ripe and ready to pick — by far the earliest we’ve ever harvested. With increasing olive fly damage threatening the crop, waiting wasn’t an option.
So we got to work.
670 pounds of olives harvested, producing just under 12 gallons of fresh olive oil.
Finding a mill operating this early in the season was another challenge, but we got it done.
And the results? A beautiful oil with a distinct apple aroma, a smooth, buttery character, and a wonderful peppery finish.
An unusual growing season, an unexpectedly early harvest, and one of the nicest oils we’ve produced.
